Senior Software Engineer – Customer Service Lending

As part of Customer Service Lending, you will contribute to all aspects of the technology products and services we deliver, from technical strategy and design to coding, deployment, and operation.

Our squad’s purpose is to deliver cutting edge digital tools and automations to support lenders, associates, relationship managers to grow CBA’s proprietary lending businesses. We achieve this by developing and implementing digital verification rules that utilise trusted data sources for automatic verification.

You will work closely with the Product Owner, Product Managers, UX Designers and other software engineers to bring new features to life, keep our systems running smoothly, mentor junior team members, share your ideas, and see them executed.

Technical Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
Solid experience with ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, NestJS or .Net
Could environments - AWS
Experience building scalable, high-performance, and secure APIs.
Proficiency with relational databases, SQL, and NoSQL DBs like AWS DocumentDB.
CI/CD: Familiarity with usage and configuration of fully automated pipelines is useful. This includes Github Actions, Artifactory and Cloudformation
Devops: Familiarity with devops-managed environments. Specifically around observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Promethius, PagerDuty)
Test Automation: Unit/Integration/Acceptance/Performance testing experience in API.
