In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for multiple workloads, applications or services.
- Monitor and improve the performance of Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes deployments, networking, and resource management.
- Implement best practices for security and compliance within Kubernetes environments.
- Automate routine tasks and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for incidents related to Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure-as-code practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Your background:
- 5+ years experience building and developing infrastructure and systems
- Experience with container and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes, Docker or ContainerD. (2+ years)
- Designing and delivering AWS cloud-native infrastructure solutions (3+ years).
- Experience with one or more relevant languages such as GoLang, or Python
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-code projects and tooling (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience in observability solution (e.g. SignalFX, Splunk)
- Deep experience managing and troubleshooting Linux servers
- Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban, scrum)
- Experience with information security systems would be a huge bonus (e.g. vulnerability scanning, OSQuery, etc.)
