Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing and optimising enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with deep ServiceNow technical expertise who can work confidently across complex environments, influence technical decisions and partner effectively with business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM and CMDB.
  • Build and maintain scripts, configurations, integrations, Scripted REST APIs and connectors.
  • Support and deliver ServiceNow platform upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise platform performance, tuning and sizing.
  • Apply ServiceNow best practices and methodologies, including NowCreate, Business Smart Customization, HealthScan and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Review existing configurations and customisations and identify opportunities to improve platform quality, maintainability and performance.
  • Champion good development practices and minimise unnecessary or high-risk customisation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects and engineers to drive practical, scalable technical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Significant years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, ideally within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on development experience across ITSM, CSM and CMDB.
  • Experience developing ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs and connectors.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of platform performance troubleshooting, tuning and sizing.
  • Sound understanding of ServiceNow configuration, coding and customisation best practices.
  • Ability to distinguish between effective configuration and unnecessary customisation, with a focus on platform sustainability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence technical and business decisions.
  • A collaborative approach, positive attitude and one-team mindset.
