We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer for a contract role, with experience in the automotive industry to support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of our customer and dealer engagement platform. This role is critical in delivering seamless, data-driven experiences for customers by improving CRM functionality, preventing data duplication, and supporting integration with external platforms such as dealer management systems (DMS), payment gateways, and enterprise ERP solutions.
You will sit within a cross-functional team to :
- Fix data integrity issues such as duplicate records in Salesforce.
- Automate key CRM processes, including account classification and customer onboarding flows.
- Enhance dealer and customer platform functionality by building new features and improving user experience.
- Support the discovery and planning of a B2B payment solution for dealer transactions integrated with systems like DMS, ERP, and payment gateways
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations, IT) to define business and technical requirements.
- Monitor and improve CRM platform health, using dashboards and incident data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
About You
- You’re passionate about your craft and you’re happy to work across technologically diverse projects.
- You have 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience in a development or technical role.
- You have expertise in;
- Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce API integrations.
- Data modelling, deduplication strategies, and platform automation.
- Improving system performance
- You have worked within complex, multi-team Salesforce orgs with a good understanding of deployment and best practices
- Experience working with external payment systems, ERP platforms, or partner integrations is highly desirable
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- You are comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional environments.
