The role of the Senior Creative Resource Manager is to work with our creative leads to cast teams for client briefs and continue to manage the dynamic talent needs for projects as priorities shift and change. R/GA Australia has capability in advertising communications, content, brand design and digital product and experience. Often our projects involve multi-discipline teams, so an understanding of both traditional and digital creative development and production is vital. Day-to-day your focus will be on managing the flow of work through the agency, working with producers and client service to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met.

The Senior Creative Resource Manager will be a part of the Talent Team, which includes an Executive Talent Director, APAC, a Talent Partner focused on acquisition and talent experience and Talent Experience Associate.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Talent Manager at R/GA:
On any given day you might
- Partner with Creative leads to compile teams that optimize our talent across various client projects, ensuring they are appropriately staffed and utilized
- Show a deep understanding of the talent pool’s skill sets across all disciplines
- Connect with talent on a regular basis and partner with their manager on career goals and future project opportunities
- Work with business and discipline leads on workforce planning, discussing talent goals, casting priorities, talent gaps and lead casting meetings as the main point of contact for staffing projects
- Work with producers, finance and office leads to understand client engagements, SOW’s and revenue forecasts
- Identify when internal talent are not available and facilitate freelance and contract hires when needed
- Escalate issues related to group rotations, retention or employee relations, workflow and projected staffing needs
- Find ways to improve talent-related processes, share recommendations to leadership, report on productivity and other staffing metrics and call out trends/concerns
- Ensure staff utilisation in tracked, projected and up-to-date in relevant project management, HR and finance systems
- Work with Talent leads in other markets to cast multi-geographic teams for client assignments and new business opportunities when needed
- Monitor timesheet compliance

You bring
- 4+ years of experience with production/project management, talent/resource management or related field
- Prior experience in a digital agency or creative production environment preferred
- Ability to lead meetings, drive conversations and resolve conflicts
- Understanding of talent/resource management reporting and general tools
- Ability to work in a creative and fast paced environment
