About the Role
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with our valued customers in successfully executing a diverse range of projects. Your expertise will ensure exceptional outcomes for our clients, and our internal technical and delivery teams. The role of the Senior Project Manager is to ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest quality standard, within scope, in budget and on time.
Due to the requirements of our client, the successful applicant will already have at least Baseline security clearance and preferably NV1. Again, this isn't for people to get that whilst with us, you must already have this before joining.
What You’ll Do (Your Why)
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to:
- Ensuring preparation/completion of projects to appropriate quality standards within time/cost constraints as well as meeting contractual requirements.
- Effectively manage and build collaborative project teams to achieve the clients’ organisational goals and objectives.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, risks, and issues throughout the project's lifespan.
- Ensure project governance and reporting requirements are consistently met.
- Handle invoicing and related billing activities professionally and efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
- A proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensuring that your projects are completed on time.
- Strong communication skills with proven experience of managing various stakeholders of all levels and the ability to tailor your conversations accordingly.
- Strong financial and reporting skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
