Let’s talk about you
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Delivery & PMO as part of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you play a key role as a Senior Project Manager in 'turning our strategy into reality' through quality, customer focused end-to-end delivery and “fit for purpose” governance.
To be successful in this role you will possess:

A proven track record in the execution of complex, strategic and transformational change, with the ability to move between strategy and execution.

Experience in working in a large, complex and commercial environment – ideally within Telco
-
Previous experience leading cross functional / matrix teams and building delivery teams from initiation
-
Experience in presenting and liaising with C level stakeholders and committees in gaining endorsement for business cases, benefit realisation and outcome acceptance
-
Experience with vendor management activities in both time/material and outcome-based arrangements
-
Knowledge of large-scale program and project management practices which includes application of the appropriate project management methodologies
-
Excellent project delivery capabilities from initiation to post implementations
-
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels to quickly build deep collaborative working relationships
-
Strong analytical capability with the ability to solve complex business problems and achieve ‘cut through’ by turning decisions into action

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of medium to large projects and deliver solutions and customer experiences that make a positive difference. You will effectively develop and manage trusted relationships with internal and external delivery partners and Senior Leaders. You will use your business and commercial acumen to translate business strategy into an implementable plan that delivers business and customer value.
Your responsibilities will include:

Motivating your delivery teams to reach new heights, through active coaching, mentoring and feedback that helps others learn and grow

Applying appropriate and fit-for-purpose ‘lean’ governance to delivery

Bringing a bias for action and influence to drive decision making that moves us forward, transparently and with pace

Thinking pro-actively and strategically about risks, identify early what could go wrong and get in our way and effectively target appropriate mitigation

Understanding the organisational context and past performance to look for trends and opportunities to systemically mitigate.
