A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Program Lead Specialist reporting to the Senior Manager Technical Delivery.

A bit about your role

We have a wonderful opportunity at nbn for a Senior Program Specialist to join our Technology Delivery Operations team. In this role, you will help guide the delivery of our Technology Delivery portfolio by bringing structure, clarity and thoughtful coordination to a diverse range of programs. You will play a central part in optimising processes, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Technology Delivery framework, and supporting teams to meet key performance metrics that keep our strategic objectives on track.

You will nurture strong relationships across internal and external partners, offering steady support with portfolio management including portfolio planning, project change requests and risk management . Your work will bring visibility to program progress, performance and readiness, enabling leaders to make confident decisions grounded in accurate data and clear insights. You will also contribute to governance activities, helping to document key decisions, uplift reporting practices and embed new ways of working that strengthen transparency and collaboration across the organisation. Through your efforts, you will help create a more connected, efficient and future focused delivery environment for the TDO team and the broader business.

A bit about you

You are comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and thrive in environments where collaboration, shared purpose and thoughtful communication are essential. Your strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and ability to interpret data will help you guide informed decision‑making, while your calm and organised approach ensures you can navigate tight deadlines with confidence.

You communicate with clarity and empathy, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams alike. You are skilled in planning, governance and reporting, and you understand how to maintain alignment across multiple moving parts while keeping people engaged and informed. Your proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau helps you translate complex information into meaningful insights. Above all, you bring curiosity, care and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a genuine desire to help nbn deliver sustainable outcomes for our people, partners and communities.
