The Opportunity

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact across a portfolio of dynamic IT projects? Leidos Australia is seeking a skilled Program Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with program and project teams, and stakeholders across finance, delivery and operations to provide strategic financial advice aligned to operational goals and contractual commitments.

  • Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.

  • Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and effectively manage diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.

  • Strong experience in financial management, reporting and governance, with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and program success.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Experience working in a global business environment, ideally with financial systems such as CostPoint, OAC or OBI.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Baseline security clearance.
