Senior Product Owner (Experienced | 0→1 Product Ownership)
About the Product
Commsee 2.0 is a web platform that empowers our frontline teams to deliver service excellence for all customers. Tailored to the needs of customer service teams, Commsee 2.0 reduces staff cognitive load and increases productivity, allowing us to better serve customers. A key capability within Commsee 2.0 is the Leads & Opportunities feature, which enables our teams to identify, manage, and convert customer opportunities efficiently, driving growth and deepening customer relationships.
About the Role
This role is for an experienced, senior Product Owner with a proven track record of owning products end‑to‑end, including taking new product capabilities from concept to live adoption (0→1). As a Senior Product Owner, you will own and drive the product vision, strategy, and outcomes for Commsee 2.0, with a particular focus on Leads & Opportunities. You will be accountable for what we build, why we build it, and the value it delivers, not just delivery execution. Working closely with engineering, design, users, and senior stakeholders, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, making complex product decisions in ambiguous environments and shaping the long‑term direction of the product.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Product (End‑to‑End): Set and continuously evolve the product vision and strategy, grounded in customer needs, data, and business outcomes.
- Lead 0→1 Product Development: Take new product capabilities from discovery through to launch, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Drive Product Discovery: Form clear hypotheses, validate assumptions through research and experimentation, and translate insights into product strategy.
- Partner Deeply with Engineering & Design: Co‑create solutions, make trade‑offs, and ensure strong product thinking throughout delivery.
- Navigate Ambiguity: Break down complex, ill‑defined problems and make high‑quality decisions with incomplete information.
- Be Accountable for Outcomes: Define success metrics and ensure the product delivers tangible customer and business value.
- Evangelize the Product Vision: Influence senior stakeholders and teams, building alignment and momentum around strategic priorities.
- Mentor & Lead: Role‑model strong product practice and uplift product maturity across the team.
About You
You are a seasoned Product Owner who has spent years directly accountable for success of a major product. You are comfortable making hard calls, saying no, and holding the long‑term product vision while balancing short‑term pressures. You thrive in complex, fast‑moving environments and bring clarity where others see ambiguity.
What You’ll Bring (Essential)
- 5+ years of direct Product Owner / Product Manager experience, with clear accountability for product outcomes, not just features.
- Demonstrated experience taking products or major capabilities from 0→1, including discovery, launch, and scaling.
- Proven experience owning a product vision and strategy, not just managing a backlog or delivery pipeline.
- Strong product discovery skills, including customer research, experimentation, and data‑driven decision making.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex, technology‑led products.
- Ability to operate autonomously, influence senior stakeholders, and make decisions with imperfect information.
- Strong commercial and customer mindset, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional ability through lead through influence rather than direct authority
What’s Desirable
- Experience in platform, workflow, or B2B products.
- Experience in product‑led organisations.
- Experience building tools for frontline, operational, or customer‑facing teams.
