A Day in the LifeAn exciting brand-new opportunity for an experienced marketer to join Medtronic’s Acute Care and Monitoring business as Senior Product Manager based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane! In this role, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of the overall product strategy for the ANZ market, driving the development and execution of the Perioperative franchise's go-to-market plans. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Acute Care & Monitoring ANZ & Global Sustainability Leader and working closely with the ACM Product Management and cross functional teams, this role is accountable for the development and execution of the ANZ product strategy for assigned Perioperative portfolios.
The Senior Product Manager leads end to end portfolio strategy, driving go to market excellence, commercial performance, and sustained adoption across the ANZ market. This role plays a critical leadership position within the Perioperative marketing team, shaping franchise strategy, influencing regional and global stakeholders, and ensuring strong alignment between customer needs, clinical value, and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Portfolio & Franchise Strategy

  • Own and lead the ANZ product strategy for assigned Perioperative portfolios, ensuring alignment with global strategy and regional growth priorities

Go‑to‑Market Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated go‑to‑market plans across ANZ and Own launch excellence for new products,

Commercial & Financial Accountability

  • Define and manage pricing strategies, profitability targets, and key performance metrics, along with forecasting

  • Develop robust market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer segmentation to inform strategic decisions

Clinical Education & Customer Engagement

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and clinical decision‑makers

Cross‑Functional & Enterprise Leadership

  • Act as a senior marketing partner across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial Operations

  • Lead Perioperative marketing input into tenders, contracts, and long‑term supply agreements

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications at Degree level in Science, Business, Marketing, Health Care, Engineering or IT

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales or Engineering with medical device or healthcare industry

  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
