About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager, MarTech to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role

(Hybrid)

The big picture: This is a high-impact, high-visibility role sitting at the heart of Skyscanner’s Marketing Technology ecosystem. As Senior Product Manager, MarTech, you’ll own and evolve the product backlog for marketing performance and user data across two high-performing squads. Your mission? Help us serve travellers with smarter personalisation, better pricing, and more relevant messages - all powered by trusted, compliant and insightful data.
If you’re someone who enjoys taking initiative with strong skills in product development, project management and an interest in analytics then this position is ideal for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Enhancing the way Skyscanner can serve travellers with greater personalisation, through building the platform that tracks identity, manages compliance, and the user record to enable effective, robust, and compliant data and tracking that builds and maintains traveller trust
  • Craft data product requirements working closely with a cross-functional team of product, engineering, marketing, data science, and run product roadmap execution fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Help build and maintain user, keyword, hotels and cars marketing performance databases
  • Help build a data framework for tracking the flow of users through the Skyscanner website
  • Identify real-time partner interaction opportunities and drive strategy, roadmap, and features
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly assessing the performance against these and changing course to improve financial success, if needed
  • Write SQL queries to pull data and metrics
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and modelling for investigation, data validation, and quantification of business impact
  • Overseeing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product

About you

  • Strong experience delivering MarTech or Growth platforms, rather than single features, in a complex digital environment
  • Deep understanding of first-party data strategies, identity, and consent management in privacy-regulated markets
  • Experience building products that support personalisation, experimentation, and audience segmentation at scale
  • Familiarity with marketing performance concepts and attribution challenges across paid and organic channels
  • Experience shaping tracking and measurement strategies for user journeys across web and app
  • Proven ability to work effectively with engineering and analytics partners to ensure reliable, trustworthy measurement
  • Strong product judgement in marketplace and partner ecosystems, balancing traveller experience, revenue, and trust
  • Data-literate and insight-driven, able to use data to inform decisions

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
