Where the team fits in 

The Senior Product Manager, Data Platform & AI sits within Global Technology as part of Launchpad. The mission of the Data Intelligence’ pillar is to make it easy to understand, protect & leverage REA data. 

 

What the role is all about 

  • Lead product discovery and analysis on evolving our platform capabilities

  • Work with technical counterparts to articulate the Data Intelligence pillars vision and develop an enterprise-wide perspective to support REA as a data-driven organisation

  • Make build vs. buy recommendations for software development using relevant industry knowledge and research.  

  • Identify technology & AI trends and predict their impact on the market

  • Partner with our key internal stakeholder groups, understand their businesses, their customers’ needs, their environmental constraints, their tactical and strategic objectives

  • Initiate engagement forums and creating a cadence to continuously capture feedback and requirements to drive product improvements.

  • Review the existing product portfolio by analysing data, collecting stakeholder feedback, analysing industry & market trends to find new opportunities  

  • Drive complex product platform roll outs, and taking into consideration the technical system impacts, experience changes and user journeys across multiple touch points  

  • Build the roadmap for your team/s to deliver on the highest value initiatives 

  • Contribute to the overarching Data Intelligence pillars strategy and articulating this to the wider business, emphasising the relevant value proposition to each line of business

 

Who we’re looking for 

  • Someone with a few runs on the board: 5+ years Product Management/Product Development experience  

  • You've developed products/features that leveraged AI and have worked with data and/or AI in a Product management capacity

  • Demonstrated experience making data driven decisions, and in communicating concepts effectively using data and visualisation 

  • Comfortable managing large, complex programs of work  

  • You can analyse and synthesise information on the market and connect the dots to determine an appropriate strategic approach whilst taking a whole business perspective

  • You can talk shop with the developers, chat with customers and pitch a business case to executives  

  • You're comfrtoable being close to users, understanding their challenges and both their known and unarticulated needs  

  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret complex business needs and translate into product requirements for technical solutions

  • Familiarity with Data Governance, Privacy and Security concepts and policies well regarded
