The Opportunity:

With continued growth across our Australian portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement & Subcontracts Specialist to support major projects across defence, infrastructure, energy and consulting.

In this role, you will deliver endtoend procurement and subcontract administration across multiple projects, ensuring outcomes align with KBR policies, client requirements and regulatory frameworks. You will work closely with project, legal and commercial teams to enable compliant, efficient and valuedriven project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with technical, commercial and delivery requirements

  • Maintain compliance with KBR policies, client obligations, regulatory and government procurement frameworks

  • Develop and manage accurate procurement registers, including forward planning of requirements

  • Prepare, review and negotiate subcontract agreements, ensuring alignment with head contract flow‑down provisions

  • Administer subcontract variations and maintain compliant, auditable documentation within KBR systems

  • Support commercial decision‑making and proactively identify and mitigate procurement and subcontract risks

  • Collaborate with project, Legal and Commercial stakeholders to achieve robust contract outcomes

  • Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance and manage relationships to support successful project delivery

  • Promote ethical, sustainable and inclusive sourcing practices

About You:

You are a commercially astute procurement professional who thrives in a project‑based environment. You bring strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in procurement and subcontract administration

  • Experience in project environments (defence, infrastructure or energy preferred)

  • Strong subcontract lifecycle management and contract interpretation experience, including flow‑downs

  • Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics preferred; SAP or COINS considered)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data management skills

  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
