From renewable energy assets and power grids to advanced analytics and cloud-based platforms, we combine industry expertise with digital innovation to support the global energy transition and create a safer, smarter, and greener future.

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help build, secure, and scale the cloud platform that powers our digital products. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies while enabling development and data science teams to deliver impactful solutions to customers worldwide.

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating resilient cloud infrastructure and platform services. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, highly available, and aligned with modern DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to automate infrastructure, improve deployment processes, and maintain a secure and reliable cloud environment.

What will you do?

  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms to ensure platform reliability and rapid incident resolution.
  • Own cloud security, access management, permissions governance, and SIEM-related processes across platform services.
  • Act as the platform engineering subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, mentoring colleagues, and supporting complex infrastructure incidents.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native, GitOps, and DevOps best practices while contributing to the evolution of multi-cloud capabilities, including Azure.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your cloud engineering expertise to support the growth of renewable energy worldwide. You'll build and scale the platforms behind industry-leading digital solutions that help customers make better decisions, optimize renewable energy assets, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future, all while working with cutting-edge technologies and a team passionate about making an impact.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
