Senior Platform Engineer - Azure

What you'll do:

• Be a key contributor in designing and building new Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment pipelines for Azure Kubernetes Service, leveraging Azure architecture best practices to expand and enhance our cloud footprint. 
• Support and maintain the stability, reliability, and optimal performance of our existing AWS platform.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to create and provide tools that enable seamless interaction with our platform and pipelines, driving increased velocity across the organization. 
• Provide training and support to team members as needed and actively participate in regular showcases to demonstrate your work
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor key observability metrics to ensure the platform's optimal performance and stability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, take ownership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive them to resolution. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years experience working in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• 5+ Years working with Azure Cloud  ( must be Azure Certified: Architecture or similar )
• Expert in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Expert understanding of Kubernetes
• Proficient in multiple scripting or programming languages, including Python & Bash.
• Strong Linux System Administration
• Proven knowledge & understanding of complex CI/CD pipelines
