We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Planning Manager to lead labour planning and workforce optimisation across our Laverton site in Victoria.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing agile labour strategies, enhancing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly analytical leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys shaping the future of logistics by managing complex, fast-moving operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage labour plans aligned with operational and customer needs.
Optimise resource allocation and workforce utilisation to ensure productivity and cost efficiency.
Partner with HR, operational teams and labour providers to forecast staffing requirements and ensure seamless recruitment processes.
Lead, coach and inspire the Planning Manager and wider teams to deliver high performance and foster professional growth.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Act as a key change agent during organisational transformations, ensuring clarity, engagement and alignment across teams.
What You Bring
Extensive experience in labour planning - managing and optimising the facility's workforce by creating well-planned labour strategies, optimising resource allocation and ensuring the right staffing levels are in place to meet business and customer demands.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or a related discipline.
Proven expertise in workforce planning, resource management and performance optimisation.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading change and driving team engagement in a complex operational setting.
A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
