Gentrack is currently hiring a Senior People Experience (PX) Business Partner to partner with senior leaders in our Asia Pacific (APAC) business to cover maternity leave for 12 months.  In this role, you’ll guide leaders through organisational growth and change, foster collaboration across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, and help create the conditions for high-performing teams.

You’ll work end-to-end across strategic planning and day-to-day delivery; from coaching leaders, shaping organisational design and driving change, to executing core people processes and providing trusted people advisory.  The Senior PX Business Partner reports to the APAC People Experience Director.

As part of a global business with hubs in Melbourne, Auckland, London and India, you’ll collaborate across time zones and contribute to both regional and global people initiatives. About the Role:

  • Coach senior leaders to build capability, navigate complexity and support team growth and scaling.
  • Shape organisational design and lead change, delivering effective, sustainable solutions and mitigating risks.
  • Develop and deliver people strategy, aligning client needs with regional and global priorities.
  • Provide trusted people advisory, including ER case management and guidance on local employment legislation.
  • Lead core people cycles and BAU, including performance, remuneration, engagement and workforce planning.
  • Partner on commercial and financial insights to support cost optimisation and informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to regional and global transformation projects to support organisational goals and your development.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Significant experience in People Experience/Human Resources, ideally within high-growth technology industries. 
  • Strong experience partnering with senior leaders to grow leadership capability and effectiveness, including exceptional coaching skills and the ability to build trust and influence at senior levels. 
  • Proven experience in organisational design, change management, and strategic business partnering – experience delivering complex people changes, ideally in matrix environments. 
  • Technical knowledge of local
    employment legislation
    and ability to
    advise leaders on people matters and changes and independently manage employee relations cases.
     
  • Experience working with client delivery teams highly
    advantageous
     
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align PX strategies with business financials. 
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for fostering exceptional people experiences. 
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving, combining insights with practical solutions. 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
