The Account Executive will focus on acquiring new customers, managing the sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales success.

Our Channels & Alliances Team’s charter builds and activates a strategic, differentiated and high-impact partner ecosystem for our best-of-breed multi-cloud monitoring product, one partner at a time. As a Senior Partner Manager, you will recruit and develop channel partners that drive new customer adoption and revenue, including Regional and Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, and Value Added Resellers.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify and recruit new strategic security channel partners to drive revenue growth
  • Enable and activate existing partners through security training, planning and joint selling activities
  • Build security sales pipelines through channel partners to drive net-new revenue.
  • Coordinate the technical and marketing aspects of integrated security partnership launches
  • Host regular business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics
  • Work hand-in-hand with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations

Who You Are: 

  • 7+ years of experience in partner-facing, quota-carrying roles, including partner business development or security channel sales within a cloud services or SaaS organization
  • Proven experience managing and scaling strategic security partners, such as MSSPs/MSPs, SIs, distributors, and ISVs/technology alliance partners (preferred)
  • Strong ability to articulate security business value, translating customer needs into clear security use cases (e.g., threat detection and response, posture management, SIEM/SOAR, IAM) and building compelling value propositions
  • Ability to quickly understand observability and security technical concepts and architectural scenarios, and clearly communicate them, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales opportunities end-to-end, from lead generation through deal closure, including effective negotiation and long-term partner relationship building
