Job Description

Are you passionate about digital marketing and eager to make a significant impact in the education sector? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Paid Media Specialist to join our team and drive student enrolments for our prestigious university partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing junior team members and their respective portfolios.
  • Assist the Paid Media Manager in establishing strategy and documenting processes to ensure the effective delivery of the paid media function.
  • Being the subject matter expert for cross-functional and non-partner specific marketing projects (i.e., third party vendors) and facilitating the relationship with external agencies (i.e., Google /Facebook).
  • Proactively identify and leverage opportunities in paid media based on the ever-changing industry trends to provide innovative solutions for partners and colleagues.
  • Meet and exceed student enrolment KPI’s for managed Australian university partners.
  • Create, manage, measure and optimise paid search (Google), paid social (Facebook / LinkedIn) and retargeting campaigns for Australian university partners.
  • Regularly analyse, monitor and report on campaign performance from click through to enrolment.
  • Test new strategies and tactics to improve campaign effectiveness and to scale positive results across the business.
  • Forecast estimated lead volume and media spend to inform budgeting decisions.
  • Work with Creative/Content stakeholders to develop engaging and effective creative.
  • Work with Web Designer to build landing pages and implement conversion rate optimisation (i.e. A/B, split testing etc.) testing strategy.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Tertiary qualification in Media, Marketing, Business, IT or a related field of study (preferable)

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience managing high performance PPC campaigns in a commercial environment
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical capability
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders and ability to clearly communicate technical issues
  • Experience in forecasting spend and lead targets across multiple channels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

Technical:

  • Strong experience advertising with Google Ads, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Google Ads & Analytics certification
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Additional:

  • Experience in putting together a presentation and presenting
  • Experience in new and emerging channels such as TikTok
