What You’ll Do

Product & Technology - Software Engineering & IT develops and maintains Telstra's software and IT systems, working on some really cutting-edge technologies.

• Develop and maintain Mobile applications using Kotlin/Swift/ or similar mobile programming language ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver feature-rich applications.
• Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into functional components.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote knowledge sharing and code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help make informed decisions about technology stack and tools.
• Experience in Automate Testing frameworks, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Business Driven Development (BDD) and appium knowledge to write automation test suites.

About You

• 7+ years of Native Mobile Development and testing experience
• Experience with Android SDK & ADT or Swift or similar mobile programming language
• Java & Kotlin/swift/Appium development experience
• Experience utilizing standard Android/iOS APIs
• Strong Java development experience or Swift experience
• General optimization and debugging skills
• Component Management
• UX Design
• Testing frameworks
