Job Description

You'll orchestrate marketing excellence for Australia's leading employment marketplace. As Senior Marketing Manager, you'll own the complete country marketing strategy spanning B2B and B2C segments. You will lead a team of three experienced segment marketers whilst representing Australia's unique market needs across the business.

This role sits within a 14-person country marketing team and reports directly to the Head of ANZ Marketing. You'll drive lead generation, acquisition, retention and brand growth whilst ensuring SEEK maintains its market-leading position. Success means delivering on key OKRs across all customer segments, from SMEs to enterprise clients, whilst building meaningful engagement that connects Australians to more fulfilling working lives.

You'll partner closely with product marketing, sales, customer success and digital teams to localise propositions and launch initiatives. Your strategic vision will shape competitive response plans, customer communications and innovative event content that positions SEEK as the trusted employment partner for Australian businesses and job seekers.

Responsibilities 

  • Orchestrate the holistic country marketing plan for Australia to drive lead generation, acquisition, adoption, expansion and retention across all customer segments
  • Coordinate end-to-end hirer and candidate segment marketing plans incorporating local market insights, KPIs, competitive intelligence and channel strategy across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Lead and motivate a team of segment marketing professionals, building AI fluency and using AI to streamline briefs, creative and reporting whilst providing coaching support
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, growth and product teams to localise propositions, develop campaigns and implement customer offers and affiliate marketing initiatives
  • Support the team in developing deep market understanding through local insights and competitive analysis, leading content curation for customer events and competitive response plans
  • Build productive relationships with sales, CS, CSM and stakeholders across Marketing, Product, AI and Commercial Excellence, ensuring alignment on objectives and joint development of content
  • Build and champion the SEEK brand in Australia, reinforcing positioning and overseeing critical customer communications pertaining to security, trust and privacy
  • Manage allocated budget with accurate forecasting and provide timely reporting on all key initiatives

Qualifications

  • Extensive B2B and B2C marketing experience with relevant qualification
  • Comprehensive and advanced understanding of all marketing channels and segments with recognised subject matter expertise in their area of specialisation 
  • Strong ability to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems by drawing insights from available information, with exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower a diverse team of marketing professionals, with appetite to work hands-on when required
  • Excellent commercial acumen with ability to develop commercial strategies, analyse cost and return on investment data, and experience managing budgets
  • Advanced decision-making capabilities with ability to exercise good judgment in managing large-scale projects both within Marketing and cross-functionally
  • Strong project management capability with ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage competing priorities and pivot when required whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Collaborative with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experienced in effectively managing and influencing senior, cross-department and external stakeholders
  • Strong creative thinker who can translate inspiring ideas into action, challenge legacy thinking and deliver bold, outcome-focused results for SEEK
