About Us

Adaptiv helps organisations across Australia and New Zealand modernise their technology and get more value from their data. We specialise in integration, data and analytics, AI consulting and cloud solutions. Our people pair technical depth with consulting experience, so clients get solutions that work in practice.

Our Australian business is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive based in Melbourne to help build our profile in this market.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for a marketer who can plan the campaign, create the assets and measure the results. It suits a generalist who enjoys moving between strategy, design, content and reporting in the same week.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll own campaigns from positioning and content through to demand generation, nurture and sales handover.

Design and creative production are central to this role. You’ll personally produce professional collateral, presentations, social graphics, event assets and short-form video. There is no internal design team to hand this work to, although external specialists can support larger creative projects.

You’ll work closely with our sales and technical teams to turn complex topics into clear, engaging content. You’ll also coordinate marketing activity around trade shows and sponsorships, connecting pre-event outreach with follow-up and lead generation.

This role has no direct reports and offers room to grow as Adaptiv expands.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering campaigns across the full marketing funnel, from awareness through to conversion.
  • Creating marketing and sales assets, including presentations, one-pagers, case studies, social graphics, web imagery and short-form video.
  • Maintaining and developing our brand guidelines to keep communications consistent across channels.
  • Writing and editing blogs, articles, case studies and thought leadership content with input from our technical specialists.
  • Managing social media activity and content calendars, with a focus on engaging relevant business audiences.
  • Maintaining website content and improving visibility through SEO and optimisation for AI-powered search.
  • Building and managing lead capture, scoring and nurture flows using marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Working with sales on lead handover, follow-up and reporting to connect marketing activity with pipeline and revenue.
  • Producing sponsor collateral and coordinating suppliers, print deadlines, pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up.
  • Measuring campaign performance and using the results to improve future activity.
  • Supporting tender and bid submissions with relevant content and professionally formatted materials.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with 5–7+ years’ marketing experience and clear examples of campaigns they have personally delivered. Relevant agency and media experience is welcome.

You’ll bring:

  • A strong portfolio of design work you produced yourself, including collateral, presentations, social creative or event assets. This is a key requirement.
  • Advanced practical skills in Canva or Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
  • Experience taking campaigns from initial planning through to lead generation, nurture and conversion.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex subjects clearly.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM tools and reporting on campaign and funnel performance.
  • Working knowledge of website management and SEO; WordPress experience would be useful.
  • Experience preparing creative assets and marketing activity for trade shows, conferences or sponsorships.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

Experience supporting RFPs, tenders or bid submissions would be an advantage, along with curiosity about AI and how it’s changing the way organisations work.

The Person We’re Looking For

You enjoy combining creative work with commercial thinking. You care about how an asset looks, what it communicates and what it needs to achieve.

You’re comfortable asking questions, working with technical specialists and translating their expertise into content that makes sense to the intended audience.

You take ownership, manage your time well and stay close to the detail. You also enjoy collaborating, sharing ideas and using feedback to improve your work.

Why Adaptiv?

You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible contribution to Adaptiv’s growth in Australia, with ownership across campaigns, content and creative delivery.

You’ll work alongside experienced people across Marketing, Sales, Data, Integration, Cloud and AI, in an environment where ideas are heard and people are trusted to take responsibility. AI is changing how people live and how organisations run. We’re the ones building those solutions, and you’ll be the one telling that story.

If you’re a marketer who enjoys both shaping campaigns and creating the work that brings them to life, we’d like to hear from you.

Please include your CV and a portfolio link or samples of your design work. For any collaborative projects, clearly identify your personal contribution.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
