The Opportunity

Online Education Services (OES) is seeking a motivated, inquisitive and detail-oriented Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing Operations team. In this role, you will partner with internal teams working across the full marketing and sales funnel, supporting them with analysis to make tactical decisions in our day-to-day trading and to elevate our long-term strategies. You will also play a lead role in developing clear, insightful and standardised dashboards that create a common narrative across the whole business of our performance in recruiting students for OES' university partners. As we continue to grow our in-house capabilities and respond to changes in how students discover and choose their study and career pathways (e.g. AI search), this role will be critical for transforming the way we collect, analyse and present data from a diverse set of marketing data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower Marketing and Sales teams with actionable insights across the funnel, considering the full journey for prospective students.
  • Own the development and maintenance of KPI reporting in Tableau, Power BI, Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Evaluate marketing initiatives and investments to measure impact on acquisition metrics, including CPA and student growth.
  • Partner with all areas of Marketing to set rules and processes for data capture in all channels and play a central role in assuring data quality.
  • Support the Performance Marketing team with analysis and inputs for bid strategies across paid channels, and collaborate on post-campaign analysis.
  • Contribute to KPI development, governance, and knowledge sharing by documenting definitions, processes, and best practices.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and explore new tools and data sources to enhance marketing analytics capabilities.

About You

  • A proactive problem-solver who can take a brief, think critically, and flag opportunities and risks.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights that influence big-picture goals, not just BAU tasks.
  • Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, prioritising work and managing expectations.
  • Experience working with marketing data sets (e.g. Google Analytics), ideally in B2B or industries with longer customer journeys (e.g. financial services, education).
  • Skilled in querying databases with SQL or Python languages.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly analytical mindset.
  • Thoughtful about how insights are communicated, especially data visualisation best practices.
  • Passionate about education and curious about emerging trends, skills and technologies.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
