Senior Managing Consultant

Help shape what’s next in data, AI, and advisory within Altis Consulting.  
 
We’re Expanding in South Australia and looking for a Senior Managing Consultant to join the team and play a key role in building our Adelaide presence and success.  

This is more than a delivery role. We’re looking for someone who can bring strong technical capability, commercial thinking, and a modern advisory mindset to help clients solve real business problems with data.

In this role 

You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, shape solutions, and deliver high-impact outcomes across modern data platforms and AI-enabled environments. 

Your role will include: 

• Lead the design and delivery of modern data and analytics solutions 

• Partner with clients to translate business problems into practical, scalable strategies 

• Provide trusted advisory support, recommendations, and technical leadership 

• Work across platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric 

• Support the development of governed, sustainable, and future-ready data solutions 

• Contribute to the growth of our South Australian practice and help establish a strong market presence 

• Mentor other team members, share expertise, and help foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment  

• Engage confidently with stakeholders across both technical and non-technical backgrounds  

What you will bring 

We’re looking for someone who combines strong foundational skills with a modern mindset. 

Lets talk experience 

• You will bring experience in consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery roles within data and analytics (No specific industry) 

• Strong capability across modern data platforms, particularly Snowflake (essential), Databricks, and/or Fabric (desirable) 

• Apply strong data engineering and data modelling capability to build scalable, sustainable, and well-governed solutions that turn complex data into practical business value 

• Exposure to AI- solutions, or a clear understanding of how AI can be applied responsibly in enterprise environments, is a bonus.  

• The ability to solve real-world business challenges, not just build technical outputs 

• Confidence in making recommendations, influencing stakeholders, and leading conversations with clients 

• A strong understanding of how to deliver solutions that are scalable, practical, and well governed 
  

Added Bonus 

• Previous exposure to modern AI-assisted delivery tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Snowflake Cortex Code or similar) and the judgment to use them responsibly to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
