Let’s talk about you
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for managing treasury operations and ensuring financial efficiency? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a real impact? If so, Aussie Broadband is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager Treasury like you to join our team.
We are seeking someone who embodies our values and can bring them to life through the following activities and outcomes:
Overseeing daily cash management, including monitoring cash positions and ensuring sufficient funding for operational needs. A key responsibility is producing an accurate and timely weekly cash flow forecast, aligned with the group-wide forecasts prepared by the FP&A team.
Developing plans and overseeing the transactional banking RFP process, assisting with the evaluation of banking partners, and implementing migration plans to banking partners.
Managing intercompany cash balances to minimise FX impacts and repatriate cash, ensuring all movements comply with the Group Intercompany Funding Policy. You will work closely with the Financial Control team to advise on related journal entries and Group Tax to reduce exposures where possible.
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with external banking partners, ensuring consistent controls and compliance with internal policies. This includes managing user access across bank accounts, overseeing account openings and closures, and optimising interest returns on surplus cash. You’ll also coordinate the issuance and cancellation of bank guarantees and ensure AML documentation is completed accurately.
Managing bank loans, financial covenant reporting, executing FX hedges to mitigate currency risk, and ensuring timely payments of interest and fees. You will support treasury inputs for year-end processes, respond to audit queries, and help ensure ongoing PCI compliance.
Assisting with debt strategy, negotiating merchant facilities and credit card programs, and drafting treasury reports and board papers. Collaboration with the Financial Controller is essential to ensure treasury transactions are properly recorded and reported.
Providing monthly reporting to the board and senior management on the cash flow and liquidity position of the Group.
