The Senior Manager for Sales Finance ANZ leads the Sales Finance division, guiding strategy implementation, managing P&L, optimizing costs, overseeing trade spend, and collaborating with senior leaders to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Job Description
This position is responsible for leading the overall Sales Finance division across ANZ, with full P&L and people management ownership. This position partners with the NZ Managing Director and Head of Sales AU, collaborating to execute the ANZ strategy in order to achieve ambitious sales, profit and market share targets, with the ultimate goal of driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective strategy for the Food Service and Exports ANZ division aligned to the corporate strategy
- Ensure accurate trade spend management
- Analyse monthly financial performance, being clear on variances to forecast and budget
- Ensure strong and clear process across Sales, Sales Finance, Category Finance, Controlling and GBS
- Drive the cost optimization and KPI of merchandisers and 3rd party sales force
- Accurate forecasting across clusters, ensuring accurate forecasting of trade spend and working with Category f=Finance and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) on delivering the expected RGM plans
- Direct, develop and approve sales and marketing strategies and tactics for the Retail, Food Service and Exports business
- Evaluate market information and competitor activity, plan and direct the implementation of marketing activities for Kraft Heinz products
- Drive a growth and business development culture and develop a robust NPD pipeline tailored to channels
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in a commercial discipline
- 5-10 years broad FMCG experience at a senior level
- 5-10 years experience leading a large, complex business unit
- Significant sales and marketing experience within an FMCG or related environment and a deep understanding of NPD pipeline management
- 10 years + experience working with major retailers
- Understanding of costs, margins and opportunities for savings in an FMCG environment
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at a senior level in a matrix environment
