We are seeking an accomplished Developer Relations Manager to lead developer ecosystem engagement in Japan, working closely with Japanese Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), startups, research institutions, and enterprise software providers building next-generation AI applications. In this highly strategic role, you will partner with developers and technical leaders across Japan to accelerate adoption of NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI platforms, helping partners design and optimize their applications using NVIDIA technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to build deep relationships within the Japanese developer ecosystem—guiding partners through platform integrations, enabling innovation, and inspiring developers across industries to build on NVIDIA technologies shaping the future of computing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Cultivate deep technical expertise across Japan’s key AI development sectors including manufacturing, robotics, mobility, financial services, telecommunications, and AI-native startups, serving as a trusted advisor to developers building accelerated applications.

  • Accelerate mission-critical workloads by architecting, demonstrating, and integrating the NVIDIA software stack—including CUDA-X libraries, RAPIDS, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, NVIDIA NeMo, NIM microservices, and Nemotron models—into partner products and platforms to drive performance breakthroughs and scalable adoption.

  • Guide Japanese ISVs and AI startups through complex onboarding and integration initiatives by delivering reference architectures, optimized pipelines, sample code, and technical demonstrations that accelerate adoption of NVIDIA technologies and enable co-innovation on production-ready AI solutions.

  • Analyze the developer ecosystem in Japan to identify emerging opportunities across AI startups, model builders, enterprise software vendors, and research institutions, collaborating with NVIDIA engineering, product management, and go-to-market teams to influence roadmap priorities and ecosystem strategy.

  • Engage senior technical leaders at Japanese technology companies—including CTOs, platform architects, and AI engineering teams—to drive best-practice integrations, resolve complex architectural challenges, and scale adoption of the NVIDIA platform.

  • Work closely with NVIDIA Account Managers, Industry Business Development leaders, Solutions Architects, and partner ecosystem teams to support strategic developer engagements and accelerate adoption across priority accounts.

  • Enable Japan’s developer ecosystem through technical workshops, developer events, hackathons, and community engagement, helping developers successfully build and deploy applications on NVIDIA platforms.

  • Support the development of industry AI blueprints and solution architectures tailored to the Japanese market, enabling partners to deploy scalable AI applications across enterprise and startup environments.

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • A minimum of 12+ overall years of professional experience in the technology industry, including software engineering, developer relations, solutions architecture, technical partnerships, or product management, with 5+ years of hands-on experience building or supporting AI, HPC, or large-scale software platforms.

  • 5+ years experience leading and managing teams

  • Experience working with Japanese ISVs, enterprise software platforms, startups, or developer communities, driving adoption of new technologies across the regional ecosystem.

  • Strong technical depth in AI, accelerated computing, and data science frameworks, including experience with CUDA-X libraries, RAPIDS, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, NVIDIA NeMo, NIM microservices, or similar AI/ML frameworks.

  • Extensive experience driving strategic technical collaborations with engineering and product teams—spanning architecture design reviews, code and design reviews, technical mentorship, and the delivery of high-impact technical talks, workshops, or developer enablement programs.

  • Proven ability to design and lead complex, multi-stakeholder technical engagements—aligning priorities and driving collaboration across internal and external teams including engineering, product, sales, and ecosystem partners.

  • Adept at articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences—from developers and architects to senior technical leaders—while guiding partners through the integration and commercialization of solutions built on NVIDIA technologies.

  • Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing technical teams, setting clear priorities, driving accountability, and aligning team execution with strategic ecosystem goals while mentoring team members into trusted advisors for developers and partners.

  • Fluency in Japanese and English is required.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Hands-on experience building or optimizing AI applications in industries prominent in Japan such as robotics, manufacturing automation, automotive, mobility, financial services, or telecommunications.

  • Experience integrating GPU-accelerated frameworks such as CUDA, RAPIDS, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, and NVIDIA NeMo into production-grade software platforms.

  • Track record of building developer ecosystems, technical communities, or startup ecosystems around emerging computing platforms.

  • Experience supporting AI startups or model builders building next-generation AI-native applications.

  • Experience speaking at developer conferences, technical workshops, or community events.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered one of the world’s most desirable employers. Our teams include some of the most forward-thinking technologists in the world, and we are rapidly expanding to support the next wave of accelerated computing and AI innovation. If you are passionate about working with developers and helping shape the future of AI in Japan, we want to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
