What you’ll do
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, and a team member of the Bunnings Digital Team, the Senior eCommerce Manager uses data insights to improve traffic, conversion, and customer experience. They will lead and enhance Bunnings' online store performance by developing and executing strategic plans.
In addition, you will:
- Collaborate with the Merchandise, Marketing, Technology and Digital teams to implement best practices in e-commerce and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Develop, monitor and report plans to deliver the financial objectives
- Merchandise the website in a way that makes it easy for customers to find what they’re looking for and discover new products
- Use web analytics data to identify opportunities to drive sales, and develop processes to identify missed opportunities for sales
- Influence and work with the Digital Marketing team to ensure that plans get executed as desired
- Develop a pipeline of prioritised enhancements to be built
Who we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced leader, who can guide and influence teams across multiple functions and has a strong technical understanding of how eCommerce platforms operate.
They will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of driving change and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in eCommerce or related field
- Proven experience in managing and scaling e-commerce operations
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional teams
- In-depth understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and emerging online retail trends
- Strong analytical acumen, proficient in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions
