At EBANX, we are accelerating our expansion in North America. We are looking for a high-impact Senior Manager, Strategic & Enterprise Segments to lead and coach a team of Business Development Managers focused on acquiring and growing relationships with top-tier strategic and enterprise merchants in the region. This role is at the forefront of our commercial growth strategy and will involve close engagement with executives across EBANX, including the Chief Revenue Officer.
What You'll Do
- Lead, hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of hunter-style Business Development Managers focused on acquiring strategic and enterprise merchants across North America.
- Define and drive the team’s commercial strategy, including territory planning, account prioritization, and sales execution frameworks.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance during enterprise sales cycles, helping the team navigate long deal timelines and complex stakeholder environments.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders like Legal, Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Compliance to structure winning commercial proposals and accelerate deal closure.
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture by codifying best practices, providing ongoing training and mentorship, and driving accountability across the team.
- Monitor team performance and pipeline health through Salesforce and analytics tools, ensuring forecasting accuracy, sales efficiency, and strategic focus.
- Report regularly on key metrics to senior leadership and contribute to EBANX’s executive-level growth planning.
- Collaborate with global peers and cross-regional leadership to align on go-to-market strategies, pipeline generation efforts, and sales execution.
- Own and continuously refine the team’s outbound and inbound pipeline development strategy, in coordination with Demand Generation and Marketing teams.
Who You Are
- A strategic and people-focused sales leader with a strong track record of building and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams.
- Skilled at coaching and developing talent, with a focus on enabling others to succeed.
- Experienced in managing complex enterprise sales cycles, with strong stakeholder management skills (without necessarily holding an active individual quota).
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience using tools like Salesforce and Tableau to optimize team performance and pipeline health.
- An excellent communicator, capable of influencing both internal stakeholders and C-level executives at prospective clients.
- Experienced in driving operational excellence across sales processes, from pipeline development to deal closure.
- Highly collaborative, able to align and partner with internal teams across Legal, Product, Marketing, and other functions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ambitious and growth-oriented, with the potential to grow into a Director-level role.
- 10+ years of total professional experience, with at least:
- 7+ years in a commercial role in the payments industry in enterprise business development or sales, selling into leading merchants in North America. Global sales preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise sales or business development teams, ideally in a coaching capacity.
- Proven experience using Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and drive sales process discipline.
- Ability to translate Salesforce CRM and data insights into actionable account or territory strategies; highly data-driven.
- Track record of success in commission-based, high-performance sales environments.
- Deep familiarity with long-cycle B2B sales psychology, enterprise deal structuring, and driving complex global deals.
- Ability to identify and engage the right decision-makers at large enterprise organizations.
- Experience in the payments space is a strong requirement.
- A front-line role in EBANX’s most important commercial growth effort.
