  • Analyse costs, revenue drivers, forecast inputs and variances, investigating anomalies and communicating clear findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with operational teams to support budget management, respond to financial queries and provide practical financial guidance.
  • Maintain the integrity of budgeting, forecasting and planning models, including budget data and materials for senior management.
  • Improve reporting procedures, financial models and processes to strengthen efficiency, compliance and forecasting accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven management reporting experience within a changing business environment.
  • At least two years’ budgeting and forecasting experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Strong numerical, reconciliation and analytical capability, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills, with the ability to work confidently across financial reporting and planning tools.
  • Proven capability to organise competing priorities, work independently and communicate effectively with operational and senior stakeholders.

What we offer our team:

  • Hybrid Model: 3 days in office, 2 day WFH for work-life balance
  • Modern Workspace: Bright, comfortable office built for collaboration
  • Free Parking: Easy commute and save on transport and parking costs
  • Wellness perks – Flu shots, EAP, health insurance discounts, purchased leave

  • The opportunity to work with stakeholders across Finance and the broader business.
  • Genuine involvement in improving reporting, forecasting and planning processes.
  • A collaborative, values-led environment grounded in safety, partnership, respect, innovation and ownership.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
