We are seeking a Logistics Planning Senior Specialist with a strong understanding of retail distribution across Australia, and a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You are a pragmatic problem solver with strong analytical capability, confident in making decisions and balancing trade-offs across service, cost, and capacity.

You bring a collaborative, people-first mindset and are confident influencing stakeholders and logistics partners to drive outcomes. You are naturally curious, proactive in identifying improvement opportunities, and focused on delivering efficient, scalable solutions. Experience in international container operations, transport planning, and AI optimization is highly regarded.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with exposure to supply chain, distribution, or logistics preferred

  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics and operations management, including performance and costing

  • Working knowledge of 3PL distribution across Australia and New Zealand, with the ability to operate in a matrixed environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

  • Proficiency in SAP, WMS, TMS, and advanced Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical skills, including cost modelling, performance management, and financial analysis

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Senior Specialist, you will drive end-to-end logistics planning performance across inbound, DC, and outbound operations—translating strategy into execution while identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Own logistics planning performance against Nike operational and marketplace KPIs, translating targets into actionable plans with partners

  • Manage inbound, DC, and outbound capacity plans to ensure alignment with short-, mid-, and long-term volume forecasts and DC constraints

  • Lead cross-functional planning alignment across Logistics, Inventory, upstream planning functions, Transport, and Marketplace to optimise product flow

  • Build and manage 3PL performance, driving accountability, service outcomes, and continuous improvement

  • Leverage data and insights to prioritise decisions, optimise trade-offs, and improve service, cost, and speed

  • Identify and deliver process improvements across the end-to-end supply chain, from ideation through to implementation

  • Contribute to strategic supply chain initiatives in partnership with global and geography teams, ensuring local execution aligns with broader network goals

  • Represent logistics planning in cross-functional forums, contributing to supply, demand, and financial planning cycles

  • Drive compliance and control adherence, supporting audit readiness and consistent execution of policies and processes

  • Coach and uplift team capability, fostering a high-performance, data-driven, and customer-centric mindset

  • Be empowered to initiate, champion, and deliver solutions that raise the bar for logistics performance at Nike Pacific, ensuring opportunities are fully maximised from ideation to execution

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
