Where the team fits in 

This is a leadership role in the Lifecycle Engagement team, which forms part of the broader Audience & marketing department. The Lifecycle team's mission is to create exceptional consumer experiences that demonstrate we truly understand our audience and their needs. There are three squads within the team: Engagement, Retention and Personalisation Excellence. The strategic focus for Engagement is to nudge members to take high-value actions and nurture our audience at every stage of their property journey.

What the role is all about:

As the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager - Consumer, you will lead the Consumer Engagement Squad and own the vision and strategy for deepening consumer engagement, drive measurable impact, and build a world-class team known for its influence and innovation.

Strategy & Vision: 

  • Alongside the Head of Consumer Lifecycle, define and drive the annual Consumer Engagement strategy, shaping how we nudge members towards high-value actions and nurture them to conversion, in close alignment with the retention strategy.
  • Contribute to team level OKR shaping, ensuring we are laser-focused on deepening engagement and converting high-intent audiences.

Impact & Delivery

  • Be accountable for delivering on OKRs that demonstrate measurable business impact and ROI.
  • Effectively showcase performance and business impact for your squad.
  • Lead the team to build more intelligence into our messages, reduce friction in our funnels, and contextualise value to help consumers take their next step with confidence.
  • Leverages AI to optimise how we work, prioritise for impact, and make space for innovation.
  • Able to assist the team with troubleshooting technical problems or support campaign builds within our Marketing Automation platform.

Leadership & Influence

  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of transparency, radical candor, and innovation that attracts the best talent.
  • Champion personalisation excellence across the business, influencing product roadmaps and the future of the consumer engagement program.
  • Establish strong partnerships with leaders to proactively add value, champion the consumer experience, and identify new opportunities for growth.

What we’re looking for

  • A Proven Lifecycle Leader: Significant leadership experience with a track record of developing strategies that deepen consumer engagement and drive conversion (10 years+ preferred).
  • A Strategic, Data-Driven Thinker: The ability to translate consumer data into high-impact, multi-channel lifecycle programs (Nudge, Nurture) that deliver measurable ROI.
  • A Champion for Personalisation: Deep expertise in personalisation at scale and experience influencing cross-functional teams (like Product and Data) to adopt new capabilities.
  • An Innovator: Proven ability to leverage AI and marketing technology to optimise team performance, unlock creativity, and set new standards for excellence.
  • An Influential People Leader: Demonstrated experience in building and developing high-performing teams, with a commitment to transparency, radical candor, and proactively sharing knowledge.
  • A Natural Problem-Solver: A high level of accountability, bigger-picture thinking, and a relentless focus on scalable solutions and measurable impact.
  • Hands on Platform Experience: Has experience working in Marketing Automation platforms (Braze preferred) and can dive into technical problems or support campaign builds.
