About the Role
- Advise on financial services and credit regulation (Corporations Act, ASIC Act, NCCP Act, NDIS Act).
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to ensure products and practices comply with regulatory requirements and consumer protection laws.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Advise on M&A transactions, tenders, restructures and other strategic initiatives.
- Manage disputes, complaints and litigation.
- Contribute to governance, policy development, training and risk management.
- Mentor junior legal team members, foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate closely with leaders across the Group.
You will bring:
- 8+ years’ PQE, ideally in financial services or corporate/commercial law.
- Strong knowledge of Australian financial services regulation is preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and commercial judgement.
- Highly organised and solutions-oriented.
- Qualified Australian legal practitioner.
