  • Implement and enhance ESG compliance processes to meet regulatory, PRI and industry obligations
  • Prepare accurate and timely ESG compliance, disclosure and reporting outputs

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven experience in investment research, fund manager research and/or investment consulting

  • Proficiency in tools such as Morningstar Direct, MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Python, R or AI-enabled analysis is highly regarded

Who you are

You’re a thoughtful and values led professional who understands that while technical capability matters, real impact comes from how you work with others. This is a unique role that suits someone with a investment management experience, as well as someone with solid experience who is deeply passionate about ESG and sustainable investing. You’re motivated by meaningful work and take pride in contributing to outcomes that benefit members, customers and the broader community.

You bring sound judgement, adaptability and a calm, solutions focused mindset. You’re genuinely curious about the ESG and investment landscape and take initiative to stay across evolving market practices, emerging thinking and industry developments. You’re comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, and you’re motivated to keep learning and growing in a constantly evolving field.

Above all, you value teamwork and development. You enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive environment where ideas are shared, challenge is constructive and success is collective. You’re keen to build on your existing experience, deepen your knowledge and contribute thoughtfully while learning alongside others, believing that the ability to work well within a high performing team is just as critical if not more so than individual technical expertise.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
