As part of a highly regarded ANZ HR Team, you will support a predominantly Western Sydney client group with broader regional sites across NSW, while partnering with leaders across broader NSW operations. This role will require regular travel across NSW sites and plays a critical part in enabling business performance through strong leadership coaching, effective change management, and best-practice HR delivery during a period of growth and transformation.

As the NSW Senior HR Advisor, you will operate with autonomy and accountability, acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and change agent to leaders across your portfolio.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Coach and influence leaders to uplift capability, driving improved performance, engagement and leadership effectiveness
  • Lead and embed change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption across geographically dispersed teams
  • Travel to sites across NSW as required, building strong on-the-ground relationships and providing hands-on support to leaders and teams
  • Provide end-to-end management of complex ER/IR matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and terminations, ensuring compliance and consistency
  • Interpret Awards, legislation and policies, delivering clear, commercially sound guidance
  • Drive employee engagement, retention and experience initiatives, aligned to organisational priorities
  • Support workforce planning, talent management and succession planning, building sustainable capability pipelines
  • Facilitate leadership workshops, training and capability programs, strengthening people management practices
  • Leverage HR data, insights and reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Partner with the ANZ HR team on projects and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to broader regional outcomes
  • Act as a visible employee champion and culture driver, supporting engagement, DE&I and organisational change programs

You Are
  • A values-based and customer-focused HR professional
  • Able to communicate professionally and provide timely, accurate advice
  • Able to quickly build trust-based relationships across our organisation
  • A strong team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • A broad HR generalist skillset with experience across multiple HR disciplines, including interpreting, navigating and providing advice on Enterprise Agreements and industrial relations matters
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and guide
  • Resilience and agility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for people
  • Comfortable operating flexibly and autonomously at times
  • Well organised, with an attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Computer literate, with skills in Microsoft Office products and ideally HR systems
  • Willing and able to travel fortnightly between Sydney sites (Smithfield, Rydalmere & Weatherill Park)
  • Available for periodic travel to regional sites, including Newcastle and Muswellbrook, as required
Your Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR Advisory or standalone HR role
  • Strong capability in leadership coaching and capability development
  • Proven experience managing complex ER/IR matters and workplace investigations
  • Solid understanding of Fair Work legislation, Awards and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting multi-site, operational workforces
  • Ability to translate HR strategy into practical, business-aligned outcomes

Why Join Us?
  • Standalone, high-impact role with ownership of the NSW portfolio

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
