Senior Fullstack Engineer (Golang)

Our client builds a leading digital identity and fraud prevention platform used by banks, fintech companies, online marketplaces, and other regulated businesses worldwide. Their products combine biometric identity verification, document and image processing, and advanced fraud detection to help customers balance frictionless digital experiences with strong security and regulatory compliance. The company relies on AI, machine learning, and computer vision to power identity verification, mobile deposit, and liveness detection solutions used by thousands of organizations.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working across backend services in Go and modern web front ends. You will join a cross functional team that builds cloud native identity and fraud products on AWS. Your responsibilities will span from designing and implementing APIs in Go to building user facing features in modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring secure, high performance experiences for both internal and external users.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Go running on AWS using microservice and or serverless patterns.
• Build responsive single page and web applications using React and Redux and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Implement clean, reusable UI components and ensure good user experience, performance, and accessibility.
• Write and maintain automated tests for both backend and frontend parts of the solution and contribute to CI and CD automation.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, QA, and other engineers to refine requirements and deliver features end to end.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions and help define interfaces between services and front end applications.
• Contribute to documentation of APIs, front end components, and key technical decisions.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and actively drive improvements in team processes and engineering practices.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including significant time in full stack roles.
• Strong experience building backend APIs and services in Go
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and proven experience with React as a primary frontend framework.
• Experience with a state management solution such as Redux, MobX or similar.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and common UI patterns and best practices.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS or another major cloud platform 
• Practical experience designing and consuming REST APIs and familiarity with web security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
• Experience working with relational and or NoSQL databases (DocumentDB is preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.
• Knowledge of server side rendering frameworks or micro frontend architectures.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
• Experience with microservices and serverless design patterns.

• Experience with TypeScript and more advanced frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating with complex backends using gRPC or Protocol Buffers.
• Exposure to image processing, data pipelines, or machine learning powered features.
• Experience with Java as an additional backend language.
• Experience working in Agile product teams and methodologies.
• Previous work on SaaS products at scale in domains like digital identity, banking, or fintech.
