Gogo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our seasoned and dynamic development team!  Your primary focus will be to develop and deploy troubleshooting tools for our Operations specialists.  These tools will be an integral part of our daily processes allowing our Technical Support Engineers to identify and triage problems resulting in quick customer resolution and satisfaction. You must love automation and have zero tolerance for manual processes.

How will you make a difference?

  • Hands on Development Position – 80% of time coding
  • Full stack software developer who will design and develop reliable, scalable and maintainable customer operations tools that support troubleshooting for our Technical Support teams
  • Design dashboards to collect metrics from various systems for alerting including real-time health status for in flight aircraft
  • Automate manual processes using innovative technology solutions
  • Provide Level of Effort estimates for requirements and input on solution direction
  • Track project tasks, provide status and ensure tasks completed on schedule
  • Troubleshoot defects and code resolutions
  • Guide implementation of best practices for application design/development
  • Comprehensively unit test your code

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with software development
  • 4+ years of experience with Java
  • 4+ years of experience with React/Redux
  • 2+ years working with Python

Required Skills, Experience and Talents

  • Strong skills in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js
  • Unit testing experience
  • Experience using SCM tools such as Git
  • Strong XP/SCRUM/Agile work ethic – Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team, delivering demonstrable code in 2-week increments

Desirable Skills, Experience and Talents

  • Proven ability to negotiate timeline and architecture across functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment without direct supervision
  • Experience developing using Golang, typescript  
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure and consistently meets deadlines
  • Experience and/or interest in Airline and/or Telecommunications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

108,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
