  • Have demonstrable experience managing and coaching leaders.

  • Excel in designing and implementing robust technical architecture and standards that enable scalable, secure AI integration, clearly articulating the business value and timeline implications of architectural decisions.

  • Have solid hands-on experience developing, executing, and leading a technical roadmap for AI integration.

  • Are confident in driving a culture of transparent, data-driven communication about delivery timelines, trade-offs, and risks, including early escalation of challenges.

  • Champion the modernisation of engineering practices through AI-powered automation, improving development, testing, and deployment processes for speed, quality, and cost efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement in our technical foundations, including data quality, infrastructure, and development frameworks.

  • Pride themselves in their ability to balance cultural, people, and technology requirements.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of GenAI tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical application in engineering.

  • Proven track record of modernising engineering practices and driving technical transformation.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (primarily AWS) and modern architecture patterns that enable scalable, secure systems.

  • Experience leading full-scale AI development teams and solutions (e.g., Agentic Frameworks, NxtJS, React, GraphQL, FastAPI, etc..) that deliver exceptional user experiences.

  • Expertise in data engineering, including data transformation, pipeline orchestration, and analytics platforms (e.g., DBT, Data Warehouse, Snowflake).

  • Strong background in cloud-native DevSecOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment pipelines (e.g., CloudFormation, CDK, GitHub Actions).

  • Experience implementing robust engineering quality practices, including automated testing and observability solutions.

  • Knowledge of security governance and compliance requirements for data-intensive applications (e.g., Cloud SSPM/SIEM platforms).

  • Experience building and maintaining secure, high-performance systems that handle sensitive customer data.
