Where the team fits in

The role sits within the Customer 360 tribe in the Customer Marketplace Portfolio of Customer Product & Experience group. The tribe manages the platform and data that powers the best customer experiences. This tribe is on a mission to provide a high quality 360-degree view of our customers to enable delivery of superior value to them. The tribe is accountable for different customer experiences like onboarding, contract management, managing agency and profile information while supporting sales flows. This tribe is also Data owner and publishes foundational dataset making it easily accessible to draw insights and decisions.

As a Salesforce Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and delivery success throughout our squads. You will contribute to technical leadership, build innovative Salesforce solutions and integration capabilities, leveraging Salesforce and AWS technologies to solve complex problems and enhance our product offerings. You will be responsible for delivering against the product roadmap by refining technical solutions, maintaining engineering quality, and guiding individual contributors to meet organizational objectives. This position marries technical leadership with hands-on engineering, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment centred around scalable and secure Salesforce and AWS solutions.

What the role is all about

• Contribute and execute the technical strategy for Salesforce and AWS integrations.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions; at times you may lead slices of designs/projects as part of your learning and development.
• Collaborate in developing product strategies and technical strategies with your technical insights.
• Oversee system health and engineering compliance within Salesforce and AWS Cloud architectures.
• Facilitate the operational excellence of solutions achieved by your teams, ensuring accountability and responsiveness.
• Promote engineering excellence via best practices such as CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Align Salesforce development with REA standards and integration strategies.
• Contribute to broader strategic business cases by leveraging Salesforce and AWS capabilities.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with teams utilizing Salesforce systems, ensuring cohesive service delivery.
• Evaluate and respond to critical technical challenges and objectives.

Who we’re looking for

• 5 ~ 7+ years delivering complex Salesforce solutions in agile environments
• Expert-level Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC), integration patterns (REST/SOAP, platform events), asynchronous processing and Salesforce security model.
• Experience building event-driven architectures with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Apache Kafka and other messaging/streaming platforms.
• Proven experience establishing and running CI/CD pipelines, version-control strategies and automated testing frameworks for Salesforce and AWS workloads.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architectural patterns, governor limits and multi-cloud integration best practices.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement across multiple squads or streams.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or other revenue-generating clouds highly regarded.
• Nice to have: Salesforce Application/System Architect or Platform Developer II certification, AWS certifications, and familiarity with Design Systems or Web Components outside Salesforce.
