Based in Melbourne, the Senior Full Stack Engineer will play a critical role in building and supporting the digital platforms that power our business. You’ll work at the intersection of technology and impact, contributing to both the evolution of existing digital capabilities and the delivery of new solutions as part of a significant transformation program.
In this role, you’ll design and deliver high-quality software, provide technical leadership within your squad, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and fellow engineers to make sound technical decisions. You’ll also mentor others, review code, and help ensure our platforms remain secure, scalable, and reliable.
With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:
- Design, build, test and maintain high-quality full stack applications used across the business
- Support and improve the security, performance and availability of production systems
- Collaborate with Product and Delivery to plan, estimate and deliver engineering work
- Review pull requests and provide technical guidance to other engineers
- Contribute to solution design, technical standards and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Mentor and support the growth of other engineers
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in technology and ways of working
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Proven experience in software engineering, working across frontend and backend
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, React and React Native in production environments
- Proven experience working in Agile teams
- Excellent understanding of system architecture, scalability and performance
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern DevOps practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and automation tools
- Awareness of security practices, including access controls, encryption and incident response

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience
- AWS certification is highly desirable
