Job Description
We are looking for candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Senior Consultant.
As a Sr. Consultant, you will work with our clients in the Mining and Metals industry, helping their efforts to solve challenging issues. You will gain client-facing experience - traveling to client sites, assuming leadership roles among their team, developing meaningful client deliverables and experiencing Kalypso's proud entrepreneurial and familial culture first-hand. The learning curve can be steep but the work will help you develop a broad set of skills and allow you to explore areas that are of your interest.
You will report to a senior manager in digital based in Australia. We are open to candidates based in Perth / Brisbane, Australia.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will Consult with Fortune 1000 clients on main business goals related to innovation, strategy and product development
- Increase client's new product development processes and deploy supportive technologies like IOT, Advanced Analytics, Industry 4.0, Mining Operations Management(MOM), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions
- Develop recommendations for process changes and organizational design
- Design and implement inspiring digital technologies like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality to help clients promote business model development, ensure new customer experiences and build new internal capabilities
- You will Prepare sales proposals, SOWs, and project plans in a team structure
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Familiarity and previous experience with Industrial Heavy Industries e.g. Mining, Oil and Gas or Food and Beverage processes, pain points and opportunities
- Prior experience in delivery of digital / data projects
- Familiarity across the full project lifecycle
- Experience in Engineering / Product support / Solution support or a technical pre-Sales role will also be considered. 5+ years of experience
- Certification in a formal solution architecture methodology
- Experience gathering our requirements and translating them to the technical team;
- Structured approach to client / internal engagement
- Excellent written / verbal communications
- Travel up to 50% of the time
- A bachelor's degree in (multi discipline) Engineering, Automation, Electrical or Process

- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and proactivity when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
- You will collaborate with clients, peers, and managers
- You will Lead engagement work planning and budget development
