A bit about your role
An exciting opportunity has opened to join nbn as a Senior Development Engineer in the Data Interchange DevSecOps team, reporting to the DSO Manager. This technical role primarily focuses on Application DBA solutions, elevating the software delivery cycle and undertaking software release management. You’ll be part of a collaborative and agile team of 5–6 engineers within the Customer and Products Pillar of SEO, responsible for delivering and supporting IT changes across in-house applications. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and implementing database solutions both On-Prem and in AWS, while embracing Scaled Agile and DevSecOps practices.
You’ll work across the entire application suite, using industry-leading tools and methods to ensure fast, reliable, and secure application evolution. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring new team members, governing the quality of software vendors and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, you’re likely someone who brings proven experience as an Application DBA, with strong capabilities in database design and management across both On-Prem and AWS environments. You have a solid grasp of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices, and you communicate and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. You’re passionate about mentoring and guiding others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Additionally, you have experience in release planning, governance, and maintaining comprehensive system documentation.
