About the role
The Senior Product Designer - AI accelerates the delivery of AI-powered features by bridging design and front-end implementation. The role requires a strong balance of visual craft and technical execution. Initially focused on GenAI tooling, it helps Envato move faster from concept to code, delivering user-centred experiences that enable creative professionals to find and use the right assets more efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Design and build new experiences for GenAI-powered features.
- Rapid iteration on flows and concepts to support experimentation.
- Translate design concepts into production-ready components.
- Build working code prototypes and solutions for rapid iteration and testing.
- Bridge design and engineering to improve tooling and delivery speed.
- Maintain and evolve component libraries for AI workflows.
- Guide designers on AI prototyping best practices, vibe coding and design to code best practices.
- Provide constructive design and technical feedback.
- Support accessible, scalable, and brand-aligned work.
- Maintain high standards for visual and interaction quality.
- Work with Brand, Product, Engineering leads.
- Align design and engineering across product streams to break down traditional models and expedite design to code workflows.
- Contribute to strategic product thinking.
- Share tools and techniques to improve design-engineering workflows.
About you
- 5+ years in design or front-end product roles.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Design, HCI, CompSci, or related field.
- Strong portfolio of shipped digital work.
- Experience with React, Figma, TypeScript, Storybook, Cursor.
- Active usage of GenAI tools and technologies.
- Skilled with design systems and prototyping workflows.
