What You Will Get to Do:
In this senior role, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our data migration team. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for quality assurance of data migration and data reconciliation.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Quality Assurance of solutions developed in a data migration team
- Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report Quality Assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools.
- Analyze test requirements, design and prepare manual and automated test scenarios and scripts which provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements.
- Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements.
- Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data migration and reconciliation requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
- Triage and retest defects raised outside data migration team.
- Plan and execute go-live data migration testing and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
What You Will Bring:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration QA Engineer with solid background in both manual and automated testing.
With a proven track record of leading complex testing projects, you will also:
- Be proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL.
- Have strong working experience in large scale data migration and reconciliation.
- Have strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation validation.
- Have strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and reporting.
- Have hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with data reconciliation techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Have experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team.
