As a Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the charge in building the roadmap of the future guiding a team that creates, manages, and optimises the data platforms powering our business.

• Lead with clarity and purpose across the full lifecycle of agile projects from ideation to implementation

Technical skills:

We are driving a strategy of creating a best-in-class AWS based cloud-based data platform. We use a broad range of innovative tools and services to enable the data processing and access requirements of the group with a key goal of enabling the utilisation of GenAI and other advanced data techniques across the business.

• People management experience with previous experience in playing leadership roles within data engineering chapter and a background of engineering experience

• Full cycle engineers having familiarity with object-oriented languages and databases

• Prior experience of working with Data Lakes, warehouses and data processing tools, having done large scale Data migrations before.

• Streaming services like Kafka and having built data products before.

• Expertise in leading and driving team of platform engineers utilising AWS services (EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena among others) highly desirable

• Promote DevSecOps mindset within your chapter supported by world-class tools

• Experience working in an agile environment and in the use of work tracking tools such as JIRA

• Experience implementing large scale self-service enterprise data platforms highly desirable
