Senior Data Engineer(Azure,Snowflake)

We're looking for a Data Engineer (Mid–Senior Level /Tech Lead) to join our growing Melbourne-based team. This is a hybrid role offering exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms and the opportunity to work across modern cloud technologies.

You’ll play a hands-on role in designing and building scalable data pipelines, cloud data solutions, and data models that support critical reporting and analytics functions. If you enjoy solving real business problems with elegant technical solutions and collaborating in cross-functional teams, this is the role for you.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience in Data Engineering within cloud environments
• Strong skills across:
  • Snowflake – cloud data warehousing
  • Azure – data services and infrastructure
  • DBT – data modelling and transformation
  • Python – scripting, data wrangling, automation
  • SQL – advanced queries and performance tuning
• A solid understanding of data architecture, ELT/ETL pipelines, and performance optimisation
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience delivering projects in an agile, fast-paced environment

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration
• Exposure to Databricks for advanced analytics or big data pipelines
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience (for Tech Lead candidates)
• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for automation and best practices
