Job DescriptionYour Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory work across a diverse client base.
You will:
- Prepare and deliver income tax returns across a broad range of clients covering corporate, international and private groups, including companies and trusts
- Deliver income tax-focused advisory work across a range of areas, such as business/group restructures, mergers and acquisitions and international expansion
- Support ATO reviews and audits through preparation of technical responses and documentation
- Consider key income tax issues such as capital gains tax rollovers, tax consolidation, tax loss utilisation, Division 7A, thin capitalisation and significant global entities
- Be involved in the delivery of tax risk management and governance frameworks for businesses & groups
- Undertake technical tax research and apply legislation and ATO guidance to client scenarios
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of all client work
- Collaborate with managers and senior leaders to deliver integrated client outcomes

To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience in income tax compliance and advisory within a professional services or corporate environment
- Experience with preparing income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
- Experience with delivering tax advisory focused engagements for a broad range of clients
- Exposure to a range of income tax issues across a broad range of clients, including corporate, international and private focused.
- Ability to stay up to date with tax legislation, ATO guidance and relevant case law
- Strong technical capability across tax compliance and advisory with a hands-on delivery focus
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a client-centric approach and an ability to successfully lead client engagement and relationships
- Excellent communicator and willingness to work collaboratively in teams
- CA / CPA (or equivalent) or currently studying towards qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
