As we expand, we are looking for a highly capable Senior .NET & Azure Consultant to join our Melbourne-based consulting team. In this role, you’ll partner with enterprise clients to architect, build, and deliver modern, cloud-native applications using the Microsoft stack. You’ll play a key role in both hands-on solution development and guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable solutions using .NET Core/Framework and Azure services.

• Engage directly with clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives using best practices across Azure.

• Build microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures on Azure (Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid).

• Implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Provide technical leadership to developers and ensure code quality through code reviews and mentoring.

• Contribute to solution architecture and estimation in pre-sales and discovery phases.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional development experience with C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, including:

  • Azure App Services

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure SQL / Cosmos DB

  • Azure Key Vault

  • Azure DevOps Pipelines

• Strong understanding of API development, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile delivery environments.

• Familiarity with IaC tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform) is a plus.

• Experience working with Docker or Kubernetes (AKS) is advantageous.
