Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant - Azure Integration Services who combines strong technical expertise with a consulting mindset. This role is suited to someone who can engage with stakeholders, understand business requirements, design practical solutions, and drive delivery across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

The primary focus of the role is Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Bicep. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions while ensuring alignment with business needs, architecture standards, and delivery timelines.

While .NET experience is required, this is not a hands-on .NET development role. Instead, you should be comfortable reviewing existing code, troubleshooting issues, supporting configurations, and implementing minor fixes when required. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded professional who can navigate technical challenges, manage dependencies, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure successful solution delivery from concept through to production.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including:
    • Logic Apps
    • Azure Service Bus
    • API Management (APIM)
    • Azure Functions
    • Event Grid/Event Hub
  • Experience with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Working knowledge of .NET technologies with the ability to:
    • Troubleshoot defects and application issues
    • Review and understand existing code
    • Make minor enhancements and fixes when required
    • Support configuration and deployment activities
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture and cloud-based solutions.
  • End-to-end SDLC experience including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
